Our Christmas Card Design and a NEW Favorite Tool...

OK - so I know I am really early for Christmas cards -- but since I work full time, keep up with two very busy kids and this was my first year to make my own Christmas cards -- I thought I should get a jump on things.

I knew my daughter would LOVE to help -- and my son could be bribed to do some assembly -- I wanted to do something unique and personal. I saw the i-Top tool from Imaginisce in a magazine and thought how can I use my trusty HP printer to personalize a brad... so off I went to design my own brad. So I just printed our family name on a plain sheet of paper, used a colored circle (looks like an ornament) and my new i-Top punch and tool. Once I had the brad - then I put Diamond Glaze on it -- and it looks like a bottle top... very cool !!! Then of course I HAD to use my Amuse paper, ribbon and stamps (love these too) -- and off I went. Again - our words on the inside are printed on my HP printer. Now just to make 75 of them... I will post photos of the assembly line and the really cute help. Thanks for looking.

New Cards - Amuse and Memory Box

I worked on a few cards this past weekend. I LOVE the little Amuse stamps and the cards are just wonderful. I used all Amuse - except the flowers - they are Memory Box - but they look so much like Amuse.

Here they are:

Little B -- Thank you for the RILEY stamps!

Little B -- my 6yr old daughter - was SO excited today when she opened a gift package from Kristi at Hanna Stamps.  She knew right away it was RILEY the cute moose.  She was so happy - that they were hers to keep in her stamp bag!  So off she went for a good couple of hours tonight - stamping and coloring, stamping and coloring... she even decided totally on her own - that she should do her own 'thank you' card to Kristi... ::blushing and proud mom::  So here are some of the creations from tonight with her new Riley stamps.

She has now decided that the St. Patrick's Riley is going to be on cards that she makes for her class this weekend.  Lot's of stamping going on at our house...

Thank you so much Kristi -- we love Riley -- and Hanna Stamps!

Just a few cards that I did (recent)

My First Post...

Photobucket
Well - I finally decided to do it -- create a BLOG.  I read other blogs all the time - but never thought (until now) that I should do one.  However, Unity Stamp is doing the BIGGEST Blog Hop Party on March 28th.  So I figured this was the perfect excuse to try it out.  I also have two of us 'crafting' in the house -- thus the title of the Blog -- Little B and Me Scrap and Stamp.  My newly turned 6 year old daughter -- has decided to be a mini-me.  Her nickname has gone from Baby B to Little B as she has grown up.  So for her 6th birthday - on Valentine's Day - I gave her - her very own sets of Unity stamps (extra sets I got for $1), blank cards, a clear block and ink pads (washable).  Away she went -- she has not stopped making cards for EVERYONE.  She is having a blast!  Ok - then she gave me a BIG chuckle - when she went to the craft supplies and got her COPICS... NO I did not give her Copics - but she is calling her Crayola markers "HER COPICS" -- works for me and she loves them.  Anyway - I always hear to start them out right -- so I did ... Unity Stamps Little Buggers,  Valentines and Just My Type.  Now to keep her out of the Staz-On pads...  Anyway here are some photos of her creating...

Here it is -- the final product -- for tonight... Many more to come from this little crafty "B"
